Well, after taking the Saturday off to relax and try to heal my sore back, I figure it was time to go back diving, after a year without having time to. Diving is surprisingly demanding. You have to carry around over 50lb of gear to the water, and later from the water to the car. And if your fining sucks like mine, you get to work out the leg muscles trying to move around. Also, and this is always surprising, diving is very dehydrating… yep, even surrounded by water!
I usually come out of dives thirsty and hungry.. I’d say moreso than immediately after crossfit. Funny thing.
