I consider myself to be your “typical” 35 year old North American white male. I’m 6’ tall and weight about 180 lb (so roughly 1,83m and 81,6kg for the metric system fans). Some say I’m slim, others say I have an athletic build. I honestly think I just normal with small love handles. I work full time on weekdays and study at least one night a week.

To stay in shape, I try to do martial arts – jiu jitsu – at least once a week and train crossfit at least once or twice a week. I’ve been training for about 6 years with various periods of
“rest” due to injuries. Martial arts have pretty much been constantly present during those years, but crossfit is something I’ve started in June. Before that I would do free weight at home based on routines created my people with more knowledge than me – in magazines, on the Web or through friends. I’ve done some running, I’ve tried P90X. Hell I even tried getting up at 5am to go swim, and that didn’t turn out that well. I believe I have at least basic knowledge of nutrition, supplements and exercise. So, I’m not an expert, but I know enough not to hurt or poison myself.

So that’s me in a nutshell: maybe a little healthier than the norm, but by no mean an athlete.
